NCI: As the Test Engineer ( Software Test Engineer , Senior Principal ) , you will design, develop, and implement testing methods and equipment.
Highlights of Responsibilities:
- Plan and arrange the labor, schedules, and equipment required for testing and evaluating standard and special devices
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Six (6) years of experience in test engineering or integration of modern hardware/software systems
- Six (6) years of requirements analysis experience and in particular be fully trained or have experience in the testing of systems at the component, integration, system, and end-to-end levels
- Six (6) years of experience testing with Java, C++, PERL, and testing WebLogic products using soapUL
- Familiar with ClearQuest and Supervision tools
- Good communication and organizational skills •Experience with leading teams of Sr. Test Engineers
- Experience with Oracle using SQLDeveloper to view/update/add data in Oracle databases
- Experience in test engineering of modern hardware/software systems
- Experience with Basic UNIX/LINUS and Windows commands and basic understanding of capturing snapshots
- Position requires a current TS/SCI with Polygraph Clearance
- BS degree in a technical field may substitute for 2 years of experience. A MS degree in a technical field will be considered equivalent to 4 years of experience
