This position is responsible for design, implementation and maintenance of test cases. This includes Functional and Non functional requirement testing
Design, develop and document test cases.
Regression, Integration, System testing of various products.
Regular status updates and communication with management and development team.
Collecting input and acting on communications with product definitions team and development team to design new test cases
Test reporting.
Education and Experience Required
B.E and/or MS/M.Tech in Electronics or Computer Science.
Excellent knowledge of Product testing developed on Microsoft Windows platform
Automation tool knowledge such as Win runner/Load runner
Database knowledge is plus.
3+ years experience in testing multimedia/networking/ Device driver testing.
Must have a demonstrated track record of successfully testing mid scale Microsoft Windows software projects testing.
Solid knowledge of Microsoft Windows platform.
Strong multimedia background with the focus on streaming video and audio or networking testing.
Testing of product developed for Macintosh is a plus
Excellent problem analysis and debugging skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication and people skills.
Excellent people skills.
Familiarity with a wide range of current video and image processing techniques and digital video compression standards such as MPEG-2, MPEG-4, H.264, Windows Media Video.
