Currently,
Panasonic Corporation of North America (PNA) is seeking a Senior Treasury
Analyst. Under the Treasurer’s supervision, the Senior Treasury Analyst
conducts or assists in the day-to-day operations and reporting. This position requires
a broad knowledge of treasury practice and procedures.

ACCOUNTABILITIES:
PRIMARY
RESPONSIBILITY - Foreign Exchange

Responsible for hedging foreign
exchange (FX) risk exposure on behalf of the Panasonic group companies in
North America and Latin America.

Adjust FX positions of group
companies’ payables/receivables in foreign currencies by using spot,
forward and NDF contracts.

Price intercompany loans in
foreign currencies by using spot, forward and NDF contracts.

Monitor and analyze group
companies’ FX positions to advise the efficient operations.

Prepare FX-related reports such
as Daily FX Position List, Monthly FX Position Summary, etc.

SECONDARY
RESPONSIBILITY - Funding / Investment

Responsible for funding and
investing for the USD global portfolio on behalf of PFI(GT).

Responsible for issuing
commercial papers for the Panasonic Headquarters’ need.

Arrange internal term loans
& deposits with group companies upon request.

Monitor and analyze group
companies’ loan & deposit positions to advise the efficient operations.

Prepare MM-related reports such
as Daily Cash Analysis, Monthly Monitored Company List, etc.

SECONDARY
RESPONSIBILITY - Fund Settlement

Responsible for daily fund
transfers and settlement.

Monitor and manage
inter-company payments on the global settlement days (GSD / SGSD).

Arrange third-party payments in
foreign currencies via bank on behalf of the group companies.

Arrange all necessary bank
wires, bank account transfers and internal account transfers.

Prepare settlement-related
reports such as Daily Settlement List, GSD Report, etc.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
BS/BA Degree in Economics or
Finance

Experience:
6-8 years treasury experience.
He or she should have a thorough working knowledge of treasury functions
including related accounting.

Proficiency:
Advanced computer literacy in
spreadsheet, Word, PowerPoint, e-mail and online banking software such as
CitiDirect. He or she should have considerable analytical and mathematical
abilities that enable him or her to promote an efficient global finance
operation for North and Latin Americas.

Communications:
Bilingual English/Spanish is
mandatory. He or she should possess very strong communication skills in
order to clearly explain, report to management, and deal with dealers,
banks and group companies.
