As the Senior Treasury Associate you will have overall responsibility for Global Operations - Finance Treasury for an assigned region or business partner. Lead the Treasury operation and all related financial reporting processes and improving the effectiveness and efficiency of treasury controls and reporting. Assist with global treasury and controllership projects as needed.
Global Operations Financial Treasury Operation & Controllership:
Establish strategy for cash management initiatives across GOF serviced LE entities
Leverage gBANC to guide local branches to prepare detailed cash flow forecasts
Oversee branch/project funding worldwide for all Legal entities supporting by GOF
Mitigate FX risks by understanding the theory and mechanics of the spot and forward foreign exchange markets, and a broad range of hedging techniques and derivatives tools
Standardize and optimize treasury processes globally
Work with Business treasury leaders to ensure that GE Treasury Policies and GOF Treasury routines are enforced throughout Global Ops Finance
Maintain relationship with Corporate and business Treasury in order to utilize all services relevant to GOF and GOF industrial business partners
Treasury and segregation of duties risk assessment and related mitigation strategy
Provide sound risk advice to business leaders thorough understanding of credit, foreign exchange and risk
Advise business leaders on funding and banking issues by applying knowledge of funding, capital markets and banking instruments
Integrations: Position GOF Treasury to provide world class treasury services to sustain growth within GE Industrial Businesses
Continue organizational effort to standardize GOF Treasury process globally
Enhance & improve Treasury KPI metrics; e.g. cost of funds, wire processing cost, ACH cost, etc.
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university/college in Accounting or Finance or related concentration
Minimum 5 years of experience in Accounting or Finance
Minimum 2 years of experience in Treasury
MUST be able to satisfy the requirements of Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act.

Masters’ of Business Administration (MBA)
Public Accounting experience
Certified Public Accountant
GE Corporate Audit Staff
Ability to anticipate, identify, and resolve complex financial issues
Demonstrated financial analysis skills and knowledge of Treasury processes
Demonstrated leadership experience
Demonstrated ability to drive process improvements
Demonstrated ability to influence in a matrix environment
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Excel, PowerPoint and Word)
Bi or Multi-Lingual
Demonstrated ability to develop creative solutions to complex problems (change agent)
Previous project management experience
Strong knowledge of banking and industrial businesses.
Ability to deliver to various stakeholders a world class service
