Job Description:
The Senior University Programs Recruiter possesses advanced level, front line recruiting knowledge, skills, and abilities to help shape the direction of our intern and graduate recruiting programs. The successful candidate will utilize the recruiting industry's latest networking tools to implement and track applicants throughout the full recruiting life cycle and achieve results. As part of the Human Resources function, the position works closely with Human Resources counterparts to attract talent to the various Engineering and support functions within a matrixed organizational structure. This innovative team member will also manage and establish new relationships with colleges & universities as well as organize & execute recruiting events on campus. This dynamic recruiter will be looked upon to educate and influence internal business partners on the strategic nature of campus recruiting & best practices. In addition, the Senior Employment Recruiter will be responsible for engaging internal and external business partners in order to achieve results, including increasing the human capability and capacity at Raytheon.
Basic Qualifications:
4 years experience influencing and partnering with Human Resources and hiring managers regarding the recruiting process
Full-cycle recruiting experience filling high volume number of positions (30+) in various disciplines at all levels of an organization
Experience managing multiple priorities in an organized fashion and work well under pressure
Relationship building and client management experience
Required Education:
Bachelor's degree
Desired Skills:
Knowledge of the academic recruiting cycle, campus recruiting procedures & practices
Develop and foster relationships with Deans, directors, professors, labs and other administrative staff of academic departments and career centers as well as with student leaders of key campus organizations.
Research and build expertise regarding recruiting issues and trends at assigned schools.
Experience with organizing events or programs.
Experience utilizing applicant tracking systems, such as Kenexa, Taleo or Authoria
Understanding Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) principles
Understanding of employment law principles
Experience in a high volume, transaction-oriented search firm recruiting environment, corporate, commercial, agency and/or military contractor environment
Proven understanding of leading edge recruiting techniques and tools including social networking (LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook), Boolean searching and traditional networking methodologies
Proven ability developing and implementing search strategies and methodologies
Advanced level candidate pre-closing and closing skills with proven ability to determine viable prospects
Ability to manage key assignments by providing on-going documentation and status to stake-holders
Experience delivering training to business partners
Ability to identify and address root cause of cycle-time bottlenecks
Ability and proven experience driving innovation to hire critical talent
Creative problem solving ability and excellent teamwork skills
