We’re looking for a seasoned Senior User Experience Architect to take the lead on designing new feature development for our platform. Working in multi-disciplinary agile development teams you will enjoy applying the right approach to realize world-class user experiences. To do this you will enjoy brainstorming, collaboration, research, sketching, wireframing, prototypes and testing design deliverables.
The right candidate will have a proven history in complex interaction designs backed up by their portfolio. You will also possess a strong belief in the benefits of user research and testing activities. And, you will thrive in a collaborative environment to align business objectives with the user’s needs.
The Senior Experience Architect will report to our Director of User Experience, but sit with the mobile project team on a day-to-day basis.
Independently lead design activities for new feature development that align with our business goals and meet customer needs
Conduct requirements gathering, ideation and collaborative workshops as required
Develop scenarios, navigational structures, sitemaps, user flows, screen designs, interaction designs, and prototypes
Plan and execute user research activities resulting in actionable recommendations
Synthesize qualitative and quantitative customer data to inform and influence stakeholders
Commitment to a user centered process, quality and continuous improvement
Develop a strong understanding of our users, business objectives and company mission
Open and timely communication with internal stakeholders
Consistent, clear and actionable user advocacy
Extensive experience designing web applications, services and / or ecommerce solutions
Demonstrated ability to generate and communicate clear product vision
Strong command of user experience principles, design methodologies and collaborative problem solving.
Portfolio of past work that illustrates a drive towards simplifying involved design challenges
Excellence in capturing business goals and working with collaborative teams
Mastery of communication, problem-solving, facilitation and presentation skills
Experience organizing and executing user testing sessions
A degree in human factors, human computer interaction, interaction design, information architecture, or a related field
5 + years of experience designing and delivering engaging products
Online ticketing or reservation system design
Mobile user experience design experience
Experience with Agile development methodology
HTML, CSS and JS skills
