SVP, Development serves as the Chief Development Officer for the South Central Region (New Mexico, Oklahoma and Texas) – this is a senior executive position reporting directly to the Regional CEO. The position is accountable for the planning, development, execution and evaluation of a successful and comprehensive fundraising program that achieves measurable income growth annually. The SVP, Development will work collaboratively with Regional executive management, key volunteer leadership, and oversees and manages all fundraising staff with the region.
This position will also work collaboratively with National office development leadership to enhance “best practices” and expand the effectiveness of revenue generating activities for the entire Arthritis Foundation.
The SVP, Development will actively cultivate relationships with all constituencies outside the Foundation to advance and enhance the Region’s development goals.
Position qualifications and requirements include – Bachelor’s degree, CFRE and/or Master’s degree preferred. Seven (7) years’ direct experience and a demonstrated history of accomplishment – emphasis on nonprofit experienced also preferred.
