Weblogic/AquaLogic Systems Administrator

Position Summary
We are seeking a Sr. Weblogic/Aqualogic Administrator in our Application Engineering team to be responsible for the design, planning, management, and operational support of our Enterprise Middleware/Weblogic infrastructure.

Responsibilities
This position will primarily concentrate on the design, engineering, implementation and support of middleware infrastructure which supports both intranet and internet facing systems including applications on our site.
Responsible for evaluating new and ongoing projects that need middleware solutions and provide designs within the consolidated environment or design standalone solutions.
Work with peers, software developers, database administrators, network administrators, and various internal client departments to understand their business requirements and provide a viable solution using middleware standards.
Collaborate and interact with architecture team for future road mapping for the middleware environment which currently includes Oracle Weblogic suite and Aqualogic Family of Products
Provide on-going 3rd tier support for Weblogic Server, Weblogic Portal, AquaLogic Service Bus, Aqualogic Data Services platform , AquaLogic and Oracle Business Process Management, while partnering with other 3rd tier support Specialists on other Web Infrastructure Software products
Address security and audit findings.

Skills and Requirements:
Minimum Requirements
8 years technical experience/knowledge of installation, configuration, and security of Weblogic Server, Weblogic Portal, AquaLogic Service Bus, Aqualogic Data Services platform, AquaLogic and Oracle Business Process Management, in a Linux environment.
Design/Engineering experience in Weblogic and all layered Products in a multi-tiered web environment and understanding the interaction between each tier.
Must have strong verbal and written communication skills, the ability to interact with various audiences which include IT and Non-IT professionals.
Performance tuning and capacity planning skills.
UNIX Sys Admin skills (Linux) including shell scripts
Desirable if candidate has experience/understanding of the integration points with the middleware space such as Apache Web Server, IIS, Oracle Database Server.
