The Senior Wellness Information Analyst is responsible for processing, analyzing, interpreting and reporting data on wellness initiatives with the goals of demonstrating the financial impact of wellness services and quantifying return on investment. Established statistical methods will be used to analyze and interpret data to identify trends and evaluate the financial and clinical impact of wellness programming. Predictive modeling tools will be used to help employer groups understand their future risks.
The Senior Wellness Information Analyst also collaborates with the wellness team to design process and outcome measures to evaluate the effectiveness of wellness programming. The analyst is responsible for recurring data interfaces with external sources, developing procedures with quality control measures to ensure accuracy and consistency of data and for performing file and data transfers. In addition, the analyst provides production support to the Wellness team and works with the IT department on Wellness data activities such as data feed,development, business requirements, system testing and upgrades.
A qualified candidate for this position will possess work experience utilizing SAS and statistical modeling. In addition, it is very important that they be able to read and write SQL code.
Expert PC skills, with proficiency in advanced features of MS Excel and Access, Facets and other analysis and reporting tools
SQL and SAS experience
2 years of experience a healthcare setting
Reporting, analysis and statistical modeling experience with ability to read and present data tables, reports and graphical interpretation of data in a manner that is easy to use and understand
