SENSOPLAN leads the generator multi-vendor services segment within GE Energy's Power Generation Services portfolio, offering a complete range of generator maintenance and upgrade services for most major non GE manufactures. More than just a mechanical repair group, SENSOPLAN's team of engineers and mechanics have years of experience in generator data acquisition and analysis, computer simulation, and upgrade design. In this role, you will:
Provide technical leadership to support the execution of Sensoplan Generator projects in the Americas
Establish Sensoplan Americas Engineering COE – facilitate technology transfer
Develop processes, procedures and work instructions for projects
Run work crews, providing technical direction & work scheduling
Direct process / product improvement programs and provide process method excellence throughout the organization
Ensure communication of key business / customer issues to employees to ensure customer service, and to provide management updates on significant issues or developments
Interface with other organizations and vendors to assure requirements are met on time
Provide ongoing support in scheduling resources, technical leadership and facilitating the flow of hardware to meet customer requirements
Support COE Leader in the strategic planning of manpower, equipment and other resources
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with a minimum of 4 years of experience in a manufacturing role)
Minimum of 5 additional years of experience in a generator services or engineering role

Experience on Non-GE generators Prior experience as a process / service leader and with implementing productivity
Prior experience as a process / service leader and with implementing productivity tools
Strong organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines
Strong attention to detail, quality and accuracy
Ability to bring assignments to a successful completion
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
Six Sigma training (GE employees only)
