The Server Analyst will design, install, administer, and optimize company servers and related components to achieve high performance of the various business applications. This includes ensuring the availability of virtualization hosts, configuring all new implementations, and developing processes and procedures for ongoing management of the server environment. Monitor, maintain, support and optimize all networked software and associated operating systems.
Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field; OR five (5) years demonstrated proficient experience managing server environments.
Working knowledge of Storage Technologies, i.e. SAN, NAS, DAS.
Must continue to obtain and maintain appropriate certifications, as determined by Director, on a regular and ongoing basis.
ESSENTIAL JOB-RELATED EXPERIENCE:
Five (5) years work experience with responsibility for managing server environments.
Five (5) years of hands-on experience supporting an Active Directory Environment.
Five (5) years experience with VMware
Experience with Exchange Server 2010/2013 architecture and how it interacts with Active Directory
Experience installing, configuring, and maintaining all manners of server hardware associated w/network equipment
Experience with server performance tuning and monitoring tools.
PREFERRED JOB-RELATED EXPERIENCE:
Knowledge of hospital environments and applications.
Experience with systems planning, security principals, and general software management best practices.
Experience implementing redundant systems, policies, and procedures for disaster recovery and archiving to ensure effective protection and integrity of organizational data and assets.
