Service Appointment Coordinator:
The Kendall Auto Group Client Care Center has a full-time opening as a Service Appointment Coordinator. Required schedule is on a Six week rotation. Week 1 & 2: Mon-Fri 7-4. Week 2 &4: Mon-Wed 8-5, Thurs OFF, Fri & Sat 8-5 & Sun OFF. Week 5 & 6: Mon-Fri 9-6. Successful candidates must have a positive attitude and enjoy talking with people, have superior verbal communication skills, excellent computer skills, proficiency in multi-line telephone system, type greater than 40 words/minute have the ability to multi-task, have the ability to quickly, politely and accurately determine appropriate routing for customer inquires, and have the ability to work calmly and efficiently under pressure. Previous service experience in an office environment is a plus, although not required. Automobile knowledge is preferred.

DUTIES/ESSENTIAL JOB TASKS:
Determine customer vehicle service needs by questioning customer about vehicle performance and researching service history.
Schedule appointments.
Input and maintain vehicle and customer information in computer system.
Use telephone, Email and other means to communicate with customers and vendors.
Answer telephones consistent with company standards; provide information to callers and route calls.
Other tasks associated with position as assigned.

WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Works indoors. Infrequent and short duration work outdoors, which is exposed to ambient heat and cold, and to sun, rain and other weather conditions. Some of indoors work is in a shop environment, with exposure to noise, fumes, dust and elevated sound levels.
Frequent telephone use.
May spend greater than 3/4 of work shift with PCs and video display screens.
Standing/walking short distances: up to 1/4 of work shift on hard and soft surfaces.
Sitting: more than 1/2 of work shift in office chair or on stool.
Lifting: occasionally, up to 10 pounds.
Carrying: occasionally, up to 10 pounds, for up to 200 feet.
Hearing and speech capability adequate to converse with clients and other employees in person and by telephone.
Sight adequate to locate and identify vehicles and other employees, and to use proprietary computer software.
