Provide ITCC Customer Service for all USSTRATCOM clients (Not
including SINET)
• Identify, prioritize, assign and resolve end user trouble
tickets and service requests
• Monitor, track, coordinate, and configure PC functionality
and connectivity
• Maintain a proficient working knowledge of the network
infrastructure and use that knowledge to effectively
troubleshoot system components to resolve customer related
issues over the phone
• Effectively communicate using customer friendly and
appropriate language to identify problems, root causes, and
solutions
• Effectively manage time and resources to ensure that you are
delivering the highest value of customer service
• Monitor and document the status of customer requests until
they are resolved
• Provide support using elevated permissions and remote
administration to provide first call resolution as much as
possible
• Research technical problems and perform advanced
troubleshooting
• Ensure that the PC configuration, and connectivity are
functional for the numerous baselines operating in the
USSTRATCOM environment
• Utilize administrative network rights with utmost caution
• Manage/complete all additional tasks that are required for
this position
• Knowledgeable in Service Ticket entry applications
(Preferably Remedy)
• Ability to take on assigned tasks for the work center
• Printer functionality and troubleshooting
Requirements:

Addditional Qualifications Required
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a help desk environment
• 2-5 years of experience using common office computer programs
such as Microsoft Office and e-mail applications
• In depth knowledge of PC operating systems (XP/VISTA/WIN7) as
well as basic LAN connectivity
• Strong troubleshooting skills in MS Office 2003/2007/2010
(Outlook, Excel, and Word, PowerPoint)(SCCM, Active Directory,
Remedy, Exchange, A+)
• Demonstrated work experience using current computer based
tools to isolate, diagnose, troubleshoot and resolve technical
issues.
• Strong verbal phone and written communication skills
• Possess well-developed interpersonal, organizational, and
problem solving skills
• Be a team player with a desire to provide a high level of
customer service
• A positive attitude is an absolute
Additional Experience Highly Desired
Complete working understanding of system engineering and MS
Project. Experience with Windows 2008 Server, Active Directory
Structure to include creating Group Policy Objects and
assigning individuals to groups, system integration (hardware,
software, network, and database). Knowledgeable of system
security, operation, performance, and system effectiveness.
Experience with system engineering tools, probability and
statistics, modeling, and simulation programs.
Certification Requirement
• Required or able to obtain A+, Security + or Network +
Clearance Requirement
• TS clearance, eligible for special accesses
