The Position:
The Service Coordinator will answer incoming phone calls, monitor and respond to customer emails, schedule service requests, and create work orders. There will be regular communication via phone and email with all customers and internal operating units. There is a strong customer service focus in this role. This position reports to the Customer Solutions Center Director.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Provide customer service to internal and external customers
Monitor email and process/respond accordingly
Answer phones
Schedule service work as requested by customers
Create, organize and maintain service work orders
Work in a team environment, but must also be able to work independently
Monitor a rotating on-call phone and schedule requests accordingly
Regular communication with operating units
Preferred candidate must be able to multitask in a fast paced environment. The current shift available is Monday through Friday 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Requirements
Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment.
Strong attention to detail
Construction industry experience a plus
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications, including Word, Excel, & Outlook
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
Ability to work in a team environment (frequent interaction with internal departments, operating units and customers)
Ability to work independently
3+ years’ experience working in customer service
Minimum high school graduate, preference will be given to Associates Degree
