In this role, you will be responsible for the Global Power Gen Svcs NDE personnel competency, training, and qualification / certification and the oversight of program implementation and compliance. This includes the Inspection and Life Extension Services(I&LES) as well as Global Repair Center NDE operations.
In addition, you will:
Establish the sustainable and standardized processes to ensure successful NDE execution of the field and shops scopes
Be responsible for competency, training, qualification / certification, oversight and regulatory compliance for I&LES and Service Shop NDT Programs and personnel
Develop, administer and grade technical examinations required for NDT level II certification
Drive safety, quality, productivity and NDT improvement through training and qualification program management
Support the overall Global Training and Qualification processes and execution plan for I&LES and Service Shop network
Support root cause, corrective and preventive action of NDT / quality issues
Be responsible for updating inspection / training procedures and qualification matrices to maintain compliance with latest national and international standards
Perform office and field audits to ensure compliance with training programs and processes
Drive NDT standardization throughout the I&LES and Repair Shop network, Quality and inspection procedures
Bachelor's or Associate’s Degree from an accredited college or university with minimum 2 years related industry experience
Minimum 8 years of experience in Non-destructive Testing
ASNT NDT Level III Certified or ability to become certified within agreed to period (GE employees only)
Ability and willingness to travel up to 25% of the time, domestically as required

Experience with Microsoft Office suite of tools
Six Sigma Green Belt certified (GE Employees only)
