High school diploma or equivalent.
1-3 years experience in automated registration, scheduling or charge entry in physician office, outpatient or hospital setting.
Experience handling difficult callers/customers/ patients. CRT/PC experience in a customer service setting.
Working knowledge of the Billing or Registration system preferred.
Ability to solve problems posed by callers seeking referrals, appointments, billing issues and clinical information.
Good basic math skills.

The associate will work one Saturday a month.
This position has primary responsibilities for registering patients, collecting payment at the time of service and entering up-to-date and accurate billing information into the patient billing system, which includes entering demographic and other patient identifying information into the registration and scheduling systems. Handling and posting cash receipts accurately is an integral component of this job. On a rotating basis this position will assist in the scheduling, telephone operator service functions and the patient charge entry process to ensure a smooth and efficient business office services.
