Job Description:
Assign responsibilities to and supervise company pumpers in operating and maintaining oil and gas production facilities including injection wells and in maximizing oil and gas sales.
Provide guidance and direction for pumpers on how to perform their duties with maximum efficiency and safety; adhering to regulatory requirements and company policy.
Monitor and evaluate their performance against these standards.
Receive production reports from pumpers, and using written production, maintenance, and sales records, reports and verbal input from subordinates, monitor the performance of all wells and leases in terms of production, sales volumes, environmental and safety concerns, etc.
When a well with remaining economic life ceases production due to a mechanical breakdown, diagnose the problem, and, if within assigned authority, call out the service contractors required for prompt restoration of production.
If remediation is beyond own authority or if a workover of questionable economic justification is required, call supervisor for instruction.
Within assigned authority call approved contractors or supply houses as needed to arrange for routine lease maintenance supplies and services beyond those performed routinely by pumpers and other company personnel.
Responsible for abiding by the Health, Safety and Environment Management System Programs and for working in a safe conscientious manner which safeguards them, others involved in Pioneer's operations, visitors, the public and the environment.
Observe and direct on site, routine workover projects performed by service companies.
Position requires driving in all weather and road conditions.
If unusual problems are encountered seek guidance from supervisor.


Job Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required. At least 1 -3 years experience.
Must have good communication skills
