Will provide service repair, maintenance, and support for Lumenis Medical Laser products. Servicing is conducted in our Service Repair Center in Salt Lake City and at customer sites located throughout the Intermountain Region. Activities will include troubleshooting, repair, preventive maintenance inspections, and system installations for Lumenis and Customer owned equipment. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
' Responsible for performing servicing and repair of complex Laser and light based Medical equipment.
' Instructs customer in the general, non-clinical operation and maintenance of the system.
' Tests and troubleshoots assemblies and/or final systems.
' May complete rework on assemblies and/or systems as a result of testing.
' Prepares technical reports summarizing findings and recommending solutions to technical problems.
' Adheres to Standard Operating Procedures, Work Instructions, Test specifications, and Methods.
' Serves as department liaison with the Comm. Center and Field Engineers on scheduling and technical matters.
' Help train and give guidance to other Lumenis employees.
' Exercises judgment within generally defined practices and policies in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.
Associate Degree or equivalent training in electronics and or Laser/Electro optics.
Previous technical experience with in house or field service is desirable.
Lifting up to 50 lbs.
