Services Product Manager – Business Acquisitions (Services) Must have Been a product manager for software hardware services business Client facing product manager Our client Cisco Systems is seeking a Services Product Manager responsible for service product planning management and execution focused on software and Network as a Service The focus of this role is to ensure the success of existing service offers new service offer development and market introduction and offer management and optimization A working knowledge of Cisco technologies solutions processes and back office systems is desirable This product management professional will work closely with cross functional peers business unit product managers marketing and engineering project managers and process owners of areas such as IT product marketing channels partners and Cisco services operations sales regional theaters and service delivery teams to ensure success of both existing and new service offers This position includes managing the service product through the product lifecycle gathering and prioritizing service product and market requirements to deliver winning service offers It also includes working with stakeholder teams to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met The product managers job also includes ensuring that the product’s internal positioning and marketing efforts support the companys overall strategy and goals The product manager is expected to8232 Define the service strategy and roadmap Define the pricing strategy and set pricing to meet revenue and profitability goals Deliver an annual bookings forecast Manage service offer creation for new markets utilizing the Cisco Services Development Methodology Deliver BRDs and MRDs with prioritized features and corresponding business justification Be an expert with respect to the competition Develop the core positioning and messaging for the product Develop sales and marketing collateral content Brief executive leadership and key stakeholders Champion ideas for new services among peer groups Required Skills Experience8232 Strong understanding of service business models as well as software and XaaS licensing and go to market models Leadership of crossfunctional teams to address business opportunities involving not only Cisco Technical Services but also engineering other services organizations and partners Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Product Manager or Product Marketing Manager with at least 2 years in the services area Proven track record of driving the development and launch of measurably successful products andor service offers Ability to assess the market and the competitive landscape and the corresponding ability to develop strategies develop value business propositions and building business plans Strong analytical technical marketing and financial acumen experience forecasting and managing offer margins Strong leadership negotiation communication skills – verbal written presentations at all levels Strong organizational and problem solving skills with attention to detail Able to work collaboratively and effectively follow guidance from other senior members of the team Work independently and receive limited supervision on routine tasks Requires BS in Engineering Finance or Marketing Advanced Degree MBA preferred Keywords Services Product Manager Product Management – Services Please send your MS Word Resume to hrtivasyscom Network services, successful products and/or service offers, service business models
