Conducts technical training courses for Network Support Engineers, Escalation Engineers and Consultants in the use of multiple F5 products, transferring the skills and knowledge enabling them to conduct their daily jobs successfully. Consults with the functional organization to develop specifications for content of courses. Instructs participants in both classroom lectures and laboratory sessions. Prepares training materials from engineering documentation, field service requirements or software documentation.

BS in engineering or equivalent working experience.
Minimum three years technical training experience
Formal training in adult education, instructional design or communication desired.
Minimum of two years technical knowledge of routers, switches, bridges and firewalls is required. This can be gained through working or educational experience.
Minimum of two years technical knowledge of function and format of TCP, IP, UDP and DNS required. This can be gained through working or educational experience.
Minimum of two years experience in both UNIX and Microsoft (95, 98, 2000, XP) operating systems including TCP/IP configuration.
Ability to become certified as an F5 Certified Trainer.
Certification in Cisco products and/or Microsoft products at a technical trainer level is a plus.
Excellent verbal and written skills required with the proven ability to successfully deliver and communicate complex technical training.
Experience creating web-based training is a plus.
Knowledge of MS Office and related presentation products is required.
Physical Demands and Work Environment
Job may be performed in F5 training rooms, onsite at customer facilities, or in other office environments. Duties require the ability to use a computer keyboard, communicate in person and over the telephone, and read printed material. This position requires the ability to travel via automobile and airplane, and may require being on call periodically and working outside normal working hours. The position includesworldwide travel an average of 25% of the time. Job requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
