The SharePoint Analyst is responsible for the review, analysis, disposition and successful resolution of systems issues across the multiple business lines focusing on Microsoft SharePoint and related collaboration tools. The analyst will also be responsible for handling escalated issues through to completion. The incumbent relies on in-depth experience with Microsoft SharePoint and is familiar with all aspects of designing, configuring and implementing custom SharePoint solutions. The incumbent leads the requirements gathering, design, configuration, testing and training activities to ensure quality solutions are implemented in the production environment. The incumbent will help manage the skills development and knowledge sharing of the business Collaboration Team Site Owners.

Provide functional support for relevant solutions and is the subject matter expert on collaboration processes
SharePoint administration and support: manages SharePoint environments including collaboration team sites and employee portal (intranet). Serves as the functional and technical point of contact for end user support questions, requests and issues
SharePoint adoption and promotion: Assists the business with the analysis, design, configuration, training and delivery of SharePoint collaboration sites and solutions based on business needs. Promotes usage and demonstrates capabilities to new areas of the business.
Training: provide coaching, training and knowledge sharing for SharePoint Site Owners and end users to encourage adoption and usability. Establish and conduct user group meetings, workshops and a training productivity hub.
Monitoring: Proactively monitor usage trends and implement improvements to enhance system usability. Gather and report monthly metrics and usage analytics. Responsible for implementing governance policies and best practices.
Remain current on new or emerging tools and solutions that could benefit our business systems

Thorough knowledge of the business solution(s) being supported
Possess thorough techno-functional knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint capabilities and features
Design and configuration skills with SharePoint technologies: lists, libraries, views, web parts, workflows, search, discussions, wikis, security, analytics, etc.
Experience in supporting business operations and analysis of business process issues
Demonstrates analytical ability and problem solving skills
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Prior production support experience is preferred
Ability to mentor and provide leadership to business Collaboration Team Site Owners
3-5 years maintenance and support experience with SharePoint
Demonstrates experience with Microsoft SharePoint Designer tool
