Synteras is hiring a SharePoint Architect to work with DEA’s SharePoint development unit. The SharePoint development unit delivers team sites, content management solutions, reporting sites, and group-level applications that utilize most of the SharePoint 2010 feature set. These applications directly enable DEA to pursue its mission goals.
The SharePoint architect will play a central role in setting architectural direction for SharePoint Development teams. They will design solutions and repeatable implementation patterns that integrate with DEA’s overall application development strategy, and that allow for rapid deployment of incremental deliveries to DEA. The ideal candidate will provide thought leadership on best practices for architectural design, understand the SharePoint 2010 feature set and solution stack, and have a thorough understanding of enterprise application integration using web services and data warehouses.
The successful candidate will also have experience guiding teams in building robust SharePoint applications that leverage and extend the platform's native capabilities, including out-of-the box and custom workflows, BCS, Office Services, service applications, and Fast Search.
