Plus Consulting is seeking an experienced Microsoft SharePoint consultant to work on projects in a lead architect capacity. The candidate will be expected to work directly with clients in project planning, requirements gathering and the authoring of technical documentation. Ability to lead technical implementations through to completion is a critical requirement of this job position. This candidate will be expected to perform hands on technical work (as needed) on client projects. Additionally, the candidate should be capable of participating in the sales cycle when needed. The candidate must have a strong work ethic and the ability to work in a dynamic and fast paced environment. Flexibility to travel a small percentage of time (approximately 25%) is required.


• Experience with custom web part development
• Experience with SharePoint workflow
• Experience with Windows Workflow Foundation and its applicability with SharePoint
• Intimate working knowledge of SQL server, administration, design and stored procedure programming
• Demonstrated understanding of Active Directory and the SharePoint 2010 security structure
• Experience with SharePoint Portal Server, Web Part development and Windows SharePoint Services
• Experience in the end-to-end implementation of SharePoint 2010
• Understanding and experience working SharePoint Fast Search
• Ability to consistently meet project deadlines
• Established understanding of System Analysis (UML, SDLC)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required

• BS Degree in Information Technology or relevant field
• 3+ years of experience working directly with SharePoint Platform

• Ability to author project documentation: Requirements; High Level and Detailed Design; Use Cases; Strategy; Architectural Design
• Ability to customize the look and feel of SharePoint
• Ability to develop web parts and custom functionality
• Experience in SharePoint Administration
• Ability to maintain, manage and report on the farm web, application, index, query and database servers in accordance with best practices
• Must know how to work with the following languages/technologies:
