Seeking a SharePoint Developer/Administrator with experience in SQL Server and Business Intelligence.
The SharePoint Developer/Administrator will focus on the design, development and support of Companys SharePoint environment. The position will entail working with business units to design and develop sites and workflows to support business process, integration with existing systems, business intelligence and reporting. The ideal candidate will have experience with mapping business processes, developing requirement documents, and administering a SharePoint 2010 environment. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fun and creative environment for a start-up biopharmaceutical with no legacy systems in place to support.
Design and develop department/team/project sites
Design and develop workflows
Design and develop PerformancePoint sites
Integrate with other systems to extend workflows or consolidate information portals
Implement and maintain security policies and best practices
Ensure backup and recoverability of all the SharePoint environments.
Responsible for capacity planning
Conduct training on the use of SharePoint
Experience in the Life Sciences, Pharmaceutical, or Biotech industries preferred
A minimum of five years of experience as a SharePoint developer
Excellent analytical skills
Bachelors degree in computer science, or related field
Experience with performance monitoring statistics, database optimization, and index utilization
Experience configuring database instances, replication, and show plan utilities.
Ability to manage project commitments to ensure that the project comes in on time and within budget.
Experience with developing workflows and processes
Experience developing and deploying custom web parts
Experience with Visual Studio
Experience with SQL Server and SQL Server Reporting Services is a plus
Ability to effectively present information to customers and senior management
