Due to growth and expansion within our Information Systems Department (ISD), we are currently seeking four SharePoint Developers or .Net Developers to join our team!

The SharePoint Developer's role is to design and create web based solutions including branding, layout, graphics, functionality and content using SharePoint Server 2010. Best practices, design methods, development technology and standards will be utilized to insure a consistent user experience and the success of the web solution. The SharePoint Developers work closely with clients to collect requirements to determine what sites should look like and how they should function. They will work with SharePoint Administrators, other SharePoint Developers and Programmers to design and implement sophisticated web solutions. The .Net Developer's role is to define, develop, test, analyze, and maintain new software applications and SharePoint solutions in support of the achievement of business requirements. This includes writing, coding, testing, and analyzing software programs, applications and SharePoint features. This position will also research, design, document, and modify software specifications throughout the production life cycle.

Specific Duties:SharePoint Developer:
Create designs for SharePoint solutions, including design, navigation, and layout of content for internal web sites.
Assist with SharePoint development project plans, including scoping, scheduling, and implementing.
Design and create user interfaces that are easy to use, provide a consistent experience, and comply with standards.
Design and create SharePoint solutions using the appropriate technology.
Enhance existing SharePoint solutions to correct errors, improve the usability or provide new functionality.
Design and specify test procedures including unit, system, and integration testing.
Create and maintain documentation, including standards, implementation plans, configuration, and procedural documents.

.Net Developer:
Collaborate with analysts, programmers, and designers in conceptualizing and development of new software programs and applications.
Assist in defining software development project plans, including scoping, scheduling, and implementing.
Assist in preparation of well-written documents for technical staff, internal/external customers, and management.
Liaise with network administrators, systems analysts, and internal/external customers to assist in resolving problems with software products or company software systems.
Assist in project management by providing time estimates of assigned project tasks and reporting any time estimate changes to the project leader and/or management.
Design relational tables, adhering to the rules of normalization.
Develop structured programs using the appropriate computer language.
Enhance existing programs/systems to correct errors or provide new functions.
Write advanced procedures and programs in the appropriate computer language.
Design and specify test procedures including unit, system, and integration testing. Design system/program test data, debug programs using appropriate system tools and ensure system/program results are accurate and meet system/program specifications.
Participate in critical analysis of test results and deliver solutions to problem areas.
Provide training, written instruction and daily support to internal/external customers, technical staff, support staff, and management.
Assist in development of junior level Dart ISD staff members. Assistance should include critiquing program design and code, as well as providing direction and specifications.
Assist in resolving issues and problems related to software development and implementation.
Assist in the evaluation of utilities and system application packages.
Maintain technology expertise, keeping current with evolving systems, programming and database technology.

Requirements and Qualifications:SharePoint Developer:
High school diploma or equivalent

Any one of the following:
Bachelor’s degree in the field of computer science, information sciences, or a related field
Relevant technology certification
4 years of related work experience
2 years experience with the design and/or development of web sites
1 year experience with SharePoint Server development
Experience with web based collaboration tools like wikis, blogs and social media tools
Experience with front-end visual design and development, including wireframes and style sheets
Experience developing with HTML, JavaScript and CSS
Experience with web forms and workflows
Requires the ability to travel occassionally up to 5% of the time domestically
Additional work hours required, as needed
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work productively in a team environment
Ability to interact professionally with staff, customers, and management
Strong customer relationship skills
Experience with XML, XSL, and SQL a plus
Experience with project management methodologies a plus

.Net Developer:
High school diploma or equivalent

Any one of the following:
Bachelor’s degree in the field of computer science, information sciences, or a related field
Relevant technology certification
4 years of related work experience
2 years experience as a Programmer on small to medium projects
2 years experience programming in .Net (C# or ASP.Net)
1 year experience with SharePoint Server
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Good interpersonal skills, with a focus on listening and questioning skills
Ability to work productively in a team environment
Ability to interact professionally with staff, internal/external customers, and management
Ability to design, develop, test, and troubleshoot system applications
Requires the ability to travel occassionally up to 5% of the time domestically
Additional work hours required, as needed
Experience with SQL Server database programming (stored procedures, functions, and DTS/SSIS packages) preferred
Experience with all aspects of Waterfall and Agile Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies preferred
Experience developing programs with Java, VB.Net, VB 4/5/6, Microsoft SharePoint and Lotus Notes preferred
Experience working with SAP or other ERP systems preferred
Experience working Microsoft Project/Project Server 2010 preferred
Strong user interface design skills preferred
