Citizenship and Security Requirements: Permanent Resident or US Citizen Work Location: Washington DC
Minimum/General Experience: 3+ years experience designing, developing, and deploying SharePoint Designer solutions and technologies in Microsoft SharePoint Server (MSS) 2010. The ideal candidate will have experience connecting to MS SQL Server and other data source connections (e.g., XML Web services, ODBC data sources, and lists and libraries on other SharePoint sites). The qualified applicant will be experienced writing and compiling T-SQL queries against Microsoft SQL Server backend—including optimizing queries for improved performance. Candidates should be experienced configuring/customizing SharePoint searches and deploying FAST Search Service Applications for SharePoint 2010 Server for both structured and unstructured data.

Must Have Skills: Experience utilizing Visual Studio to create custom lists from external data (e.g., Excel 2007/2010 spreadsheets, various RDBMSs) and create Data Views to view and manipulate data in a variety of external data sources. Candidates must be able to create content types using custom site columns and custom term sets to populate associated SharePoint metadata. Candidates must also be experienced creating, modifying, and deploying workflows with the workflow editor based upon a defined set of workflow actions and conditions—including workflows created externally in Visio. Candidates should be experienced utilizing cascading style sheets (CSS) to determine what styles are used and the order of those styles.

The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with excellent work ethic and strong verbal and written communication skills able to work in a fluid and rapidly changing environment.

Nice To Have Skills: Sharepoint MSS 2010 Server Administration. Ability to publish all site content created to XML data conforming to RSS format (i.e., create RSS feed) and experience configuring custom authentication (e.g., client provider, role provider) are an added value.
Functional Responsibility: Designing, developing, and deploying a SharePoint 2010 solution for an audit tracking compliance system and additional systems TBD.
