Job Description
This person will be responsible for supporting current Sharepoint and Project Server environments. Their environment right now is: Microsoft Office Sharepoint Server 2010 and Project Server 2010. They will be handling trouble tickets and service requests. They will monitor servers and check for errors. They will check the Sharepoint sites and make sure they are running. They will also check the Remedy queue to answer trouble tickets with issues including: permissions, site creation requests, system failures/ crashes. They will make sure backups are performing and the entire environment is running smoothly. They currently have about 400-500 Sharepoint sites, but will be growing this amount to 10,000 by the end of the year. This person will be a major part of the planning and new development releases. This company will provide some light training in the beginning to get this person up and running with the rest of the team. This role will be split with 1 other team member, so they must be able to work in team settings.
Job Requirements
Bachelors degree in IT related field
5 years of Sharepoint experience
Experience with Sharepoint Project Server
Experience using PowerShell (must know basic syntax and code in order to script data and save time)
Experience working in a Windows Server environment
Good communication/ willingness to work in team environments

Development/ design background
Networking background
Experience with load balancers
.Net development experience
