SharpShooter Imaging Company is a rapidly growing, privately held Photography Company with established souvenir photo contracts at over 100 different types of tourist attractions from the East Coast to the West Coast, including Hawaii. SharpShooter Imaging and FanFoto combined are one of the largest souvenir photo providers in the country with upwards of 800 employees.
SharpShooter Imaging Managers are responsible for all operational aspects of running a high-volume souvenir photography retail operation. The position is heavily focused on sales management of a team of sales photographers operating in alignment with the host client standards and the standards set by the corporation.
Guest relations experience with a focus on listening to, understanding and anticipating customer needs. Takes proactive steps to follow up on requests and ensure customer satisfaction.
Demonstrates excellent written and verbal communication skills with customers, management and cross-functional team members
Ability to maintain strong relations with operating peers and staff
Monitor and comprehend the financial performance of the location using P&L statements.
This position is salaried, but also includes sales and operational bonuses.
Control labor costs through proper planning and sound decision making. Maintain appropriate staff schedules including vacation and time off requests.
Accurately forecast material, product and cost of goods consumption.
Work with Corporate HR and Recruiting to maintain personnel management standards and appropriate staffing levels.
Develop, train and motivate staff to achieve desired guest service and financial results.
Experienced in employment life cycle including recruitment, hiring, monitoring and performance evaluation of all venue location personnel.
Our sites will be open 7 days a week. Candidates for this position must have open availability.
2 years previous experience in a similar position showing the ability to build a relationship of trust, credibility and mutual respect with guests and/or partners and internal team members. Must be a leader and have the ability to work well under pressure. Demonstrated experience in developing and motivating a team to meet and exceed sales objectives. Ability to demonstrate the highest quality of service and train team members including other management and supervisor positions. Strong computer skills and experience with photo editing software is a must.
Previous photography experience is highly preferred. Management experience is a must.
Ability to speak and communicate in both English and Japanese also highly desirable.
