Salary: Competitive Salary & BenefitsAn excellent opportunity has arisen at our Tadcaster Brewery for a Shift Manager. Our Tadcaster Brewery is a pivotal part of our supply chain network producing 3.8 million hectolitres of our leading brands. We are seeking a Shift Manager (Packaging) to lead, motivate and engage and inspire a team of 10 – 25 experienced operators and craft to deliver the operational requirements of the department.You will be a high performing shift manager with a proven track record of delivering results and an absolute passion for improving performance. We are seeking ambitious and confident individuals who have the potential to become future leaders within Heineken.This exciting challenge will allow you to be part of a team that will take our Tadcaster Brewery into a high performing organisation and a brewery fit for the future.

On offer is both personal development and excellent career progression within our global business.What skills and qualifications will I need?- Diploma in Packaging (the company will sponsor this development activity if necessary)- Degree in packaging would be a distinct advantage- Experience within FMCG environment with delivering change management & continuous improvement programmes- People management experience – delivery with and through people- Experience of operating in an engineering / production environment- Experience of managing teams in a production environment, preferably in an unionised environment- Experience of working in a food & drink automated packaging; supply chain environment facility- Proven track record of performing in an fast paced environmentWhat kind of responsibilities will I have?- Proactively promote behavioural safety, hazard spotting and hazard completion in order to ensure Safe practices and site targets are delivered- Deliver the KPI targets to ensure optimum performance of the department- Create an environment that truly drives high performance through effective performance management and development planning- Ensure effective communications with all team members and stakeholders to achieve committed performance and output targets- Build strong collaboration with stakeholders to ensure the correct application of principles and continuous improvement manufacturing methodology- Ensure effective participation and ownership of activities to achieve high levels of sustained performance, for example, through leading and participating in loss reduction teams- Continuously develop the capability of team members through effective training plans and assessment processesAbout HEINEKEN in the UKAt HEINEKEN in the UK our success absolutely depends on the great people who work for us.
