Inventory incoming/outgoing property against invoices, bills of lading, or government chains of custody to verify items and quantities received, or released. Sign or secure signature of recipient as required.
Document all inventory discrepancies IAW established procedures and notify warehouse supervisor.
Input the property acceptance information into the appropriate database. Create seizure labels, and copy, collect, and turn in all seizure related paperwork as necessary.
Interface with subcontractors/vendors on property acceptance, or release, as well as government officials, the general public, and owners/violators.
Monitor manipulations, to ensure compliance with manipulation order.
Physically verify property prior to release as accessible.
Perform all other position related duties as assigned or requested.
May use word processing equipment or PC in performing assigned tasks.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to handle; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, bend, crouch or crawl. The employee must also occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds or more.
Requires High School diploma or equivalent, and two to three years of related experience.
