Shipping Clerk - 1 Position
Hourly Rate: $12.00 - $15.50
This position will provide superior customer service by
ensuring the customer receives the right parts and
quantities ordered, at the right time, at the right
place. This position also supports the physical movement
of inventory (specifically in the small shipping area)
and supplies in, out and within of the central warehouse
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
•Performs a variety of tasks involved in stocking,
picking, in the warehouse using RF Scanners.
•Counts, prepackages and stocks parts and materials in
warehouse ensuring part numbers, serial numbers and
counts are correct.
•Operates and uses CRT, printer, copy machine, floor
jack and forklift as required.
•Maintains accurate receipt and stocking records.
•Releases orders from the system.
•Pulls parts from stock according to customer orders.
•Prepares shipments using shipping supplies provided and
constructs wooden crates and special packaging as
•Maintains accurate shipping records.
•Maintains a clean and orderly work area.
•Releases packing sheets for invoicing after shipment.
•Conducts inventory and parts location checks to assure
agreement with records.
•Performs housekeeping duties including dusting shelves
and parts, removing trash, and sweeping/cleaning floors.
•Other related duties as required.
- Requires a high school education or equivalent.
- 1+ years of Combined Warehouse Operations/Distribution
experience in a large-scale order fulfillment
- Specific duties to include: Receiving, Shipping,
Packing, Inventory control, Cycle counts, Inventory
audit, Lot/serial control, Quality compliance
- Proficiency with RF scanners
- PC-based Warehouse Management System
