Under the direction of the warehouse supervisor, is responsible for all activities associated with the receipt, issue, shipment, storage and accountability for finished goods, material and equipment.
Unload / load trucks of all types, pack, and crate, prepares shipping docs.
Inventory all received / shipped finish goods lineup for entire day's shipments.
Verify shipping documents for quantity, SKU’s, closes shipping orders - Creating bills of lading
Updates systems (SAP) receiving / shipping transactions for quantity received / shipped, issued, etc.
Reports and adjust inventory discrepancies for damaged and erroneous shipments.
Hands out work to hourly associates and resolves issues with shipping or inventory issues
Makes changes to shipping orders to accommodate production changes or Deployment needs
Coordinates Transportation with Nestle Load Planner, Coordinates Spotter activity, Seals trailers
Vacuums trailers as needed (about 1 - 2 a day)
Researches, resolves and documents Shipping Disputes
Maintains Warehouse Scorecards, maintains SAP health-checks
Employee shall follow Franklin Park Factory safety & environmental objectives & targets, follow the plan safety rules, report incidents & unsafe conditions immediately, maintain compliance with regulations, and refer to the Safety & Environmental Management System(s) on all related procedures and programs.
Performs additional duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS AND MINIMUM EDUCATION LEVEL:
High School degree or equivalent.
1-3 years of related experience in a shipping and receiving environment
SAP or similar experience a plus
Working knowledge of shipping and receiving techniques.
Must be proficient in Excel
Must be able to handle multiple priorities in fast-paced environment
Computer Systems savvy
Must maintain organized office & records
Willing to work flexible schedule.
Communicates well with customer and employees
