The Role: Shipping Clerk
Reporting To: Warehouse Manager
Organization: Distribution – Salt Lake City, Utah
You are responsible for working with our freight carriers to ensure timely, accurate shipments from our US Distribution Centers through scheduling pickups, tracking packages, resolving shipping issues, and properly allocating shipping costs.
How you will make a difference:
File carrier claims and maintain a claims spreadsheet.
File for money back guarantee shipment failures.
Provide customer service to our sales team by tracking packages, scheduling pickups, and providing transit times.
Work closely with carriers to resolve shipment issues.
Record carrier related issues and track carrier performance.
Allocate shipping costs to proper departments.
Assist with international, warranty, and equipment shipping as needed.
What you need to win:
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent experience.
2+ years customer service and shipping experience.
Good understanding of distribution and transportation operations.
Ability to communicate, both written and verbally, in a clear, professional manner.
Proficient in Outlook, Excel, and Word. Background in Oracle is a plus.
Ability to multi-task, handle pressure, and work independently in a fast paced environment.
