Position Objective

Maintain the finished goods warehouse, put finished goods into storage and pull and prepare finished goods for shipment. Provide backup and support for Shipping/Receiving Team Leader.

Essential Functions

PULL ORDERS: Pull product and ribbons from finished goods stock for shipment. File and maintain schedule of orders due at later dates.

STOCKING WAREHOUSE: Stock orders from Finishing and from purchased product. Maintain finished goods inventory in an organized manner.

PACKAGING AND LABELING PREPARATION: Prepare shipments according to customer and specification requirements. Understand label and box requirements and prepare and apply labels as required. Package, wrap, and strap shipments according to requirements.

FORKLIFT MAINTENANCE: Charge lift trucks batteries as needed. Maintain pre-shift lift truck inspections according to specifications.

PROCESS REQUIREMENTS: Read and understand specification sheets. Read and understand production envelopes and reporting record keeping requirements.

OTHER: Provide backup for Shipping/Receiving TL, when absent and at busy times.

May be required to perform other related duties as required and/or assigned

Education:
Requires a minimum of a high school education or GED and equivalent work experience.

Experience/Requirements:
Previous experience in a Shipping and Receiving environment. Experience using motorized vehicles, pallet jacks, and all usual shipping equipment. Use of computers and there systems.

Travel:
None

Working Conditions:
This position works in a production environment. The noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate whereas the production environment will be moderate to high (hearing protection is provided). May be required to stand for long periods of time while performing duties at plant implementation. Must be able to work overtime and flexible shifts. Reporting Relationships:
This position will report to the Shipping Team Leader
