HOW YOU WILL IMPACT MWV
Manage the daily fulfillment of orders during the loading process for the supply of bulk and package materials
Supervise hourly and non-exempt salary employees to ensure daily shipments meet 100% on time delivery goals.
Coordinate with customer service and the commercial business to prioritize shipments.
Resolve customer complaints assigned to shipping area in a timely manner.
Provide call coverage as needed.
Develop daily work instructions for employees.
Organize miscellaneous load needs and remove barriers for employees.
Manage the repack area to meet order fulfillment needs by package desired per customers.
Maintain a safe and environmentally compliant area.
Fill in for the warehouse supervisor as needed to direct the bagging operations, tank inventories, and maintenance outages.
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
Bachelor’s degree in the Engineering or Operation Management or Business discipline or equivalentexperience will be considered in lieu of a degree A min of 5 years supervisory experience in an industrial/manufacturing Union environment
Demonstrated ability to manage multiply projects within an established timeline to achieve the desired outcome
Excellent Communication skills, the proven ability to communicate with a diverse workforce
Demonstrates a commitment to process and systems improvement initiatives as both an individual contributor and by influencing others
Strong computer skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Google mail, competent in Microsoft Access and SAP as plus
