The Shop Manager is to act as a leader and motivator for all specialists and sales associates within the GUESS shop. They will demonstrate how to maximize sales and how to achieve world class GUESS customer service.
To Drive Sales A) Work with store management in establishing and tracking daily sales goals for shop and individual Specialists to ensure sales plans are being achieved. B) Leading, motivating and implementing Corporate contests to promote sales. C) Monitor daily activities of the Specialists including attendance, customer service, sales goals, clienteling, B-connected and sending "Thank you" cards.
Communication A) Communicate with Account Executive regarding daily sales figures, assortment issues and stock levels on a weekly basis. B) Establish a partnership with all store line management including Store Manager, Group Manager, Selling Manager, Merchandising Manager and Visual Team. Walk the floor as needed to discuss pending issues following up regularly to ensure issues are resolved. C) Maintain positive, enthusiastic and consistent communication with Buying team, Training & Development Manager, Area Brand Manager and Brand Coordinator. D) Ensure that all Specialists and Sales Associates are knowledgeable about the GUESS product. E) Develop relationships with GUESS Retail Management to ensure synergy with product selling.
Merchandising A) Guarantee timely placement of new receipts. B) Continuously fill-in on the selling floor. C) Ensure best/slow sellers are reviewed and monitored on a weekly basis and merchandise is rotated to ensure freshness of the shop. D) Execute the set-up and recovery for all major sale events. E) Push for timely completion of price changes, vendor returns and transfers. F) Support Stock Handler/Selling Manager in maintenance of holds, damages, fitting rooms, reticketing, cash wrap and stock room organization.
