The Wynn Theater Carpentry and Props Department is responsible for the care and maintenance of the show scenery, staging and various equipment used in Le RĂªve; in addition, the department creates and manufactures new show pieces and runs show cues on a nightly basis.

Job Responsibilities:

*Install, assemble, maintain and repair all scenic elements
*Perform carpentry/props cue tracks for training, rehearsals, performances and special events *Assist with the upkeep of onstage and backstage areas
*Assist with inspections, maintenance schedules and procedures
*Perform all other duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

*Must have a minimum of three (3) years experience working as a stage carpenter for large-scale theatrical or concert productions
*Minimum of three (3) years experience in stage carpentry and conventional theatrical rigging *Experience with construction and maintenance, modern theatrical scenery and equipment including steel, wood, plastics, paints, power tools, hand tools, dust control and chain motors
*Ability to withstand exposure to chlorinated water and swim with a level of comfort
*Ability to be SCUBA certified
*Ability to learn or update lifesaving skills and to become CPR/First Responder trained
*Knowledge of OSHA health and safety protocols is an asset
*Ability, experience, and comfort in working at high elevations in a theatrical environment
*Must possess problem solving skills and strong interpersonal skills with proven talents in safety and teamwork
*Must possess good written and verbal communications skills
*Willing to define, practice and conform to safe working procedures
*Must be able to work evening, weekends, holidays and overtime
*Must be able to work around live birds, strobe lighting and smoke effects.
