Shuttle Driver:

Kendall Chevy/Subaru of Lewiston has an immediate opening for a full time Shuttle Driver. Kendall offers excellent pay and benefits, including company sponsored health and dental insurance, flexible spending Account, 401K plan, paid vacation, and company-paid life insurance.

Excellent customer service skills and experience required, as is the ability to operate a wide variety of vehicles both automatic and manual transmissions. Driver License and acceptable driving record required.

DUTIES & ESSENTIAL JOB TASKS:
Drive courtesy vehicle in safe and efficient manner to transport clients between in-town locations. Familiarity with city streets and navigating through town to any given destination.
Ability to read maps, signs, and use a GPS navigation device required.
Coordinate vehicle operation and schedule pick up and drop off times for efficiency and client satisfaction.
Assist physically impaired customers into and out of courtesy vehicle.
Perform visual safety inspection of vehicle.
Fuel and clean vehicle.
Perform filing and basic office tasks.
Shuttle vehicles from service drive.
Knowledge of alphabetical and numerical filing systems.
Ability to work unsupervised for extended periods during each work shift.
Valid driver license with a driving record acceptable to Kendall insurance companies.
Other related tasks as assigned.

WORKING CONDITIONS & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Works indoors, outdoors and within motor vehicles for extended periods during work shift. Outdoors work is exposed to ambient heat and cold, and to sun, rain and other weather conditions.
May spend up to two hours per day working with PCs and video display screens.
Must be able to answer and complete cell phone calls with hands-free equipment while driving.
May spend almost entire work shift driving a vehicle.
Standing/walking for short distances: up to 1/2 of work shift on hard and soft surfaces.
Sitting: up to 3/4 of work shift.
Carrying/Lifting: occasionally, up to 20 pounds for up to 200 feet.
Bending and twisting: frequently, primarily to enter and exit vehicles.
Hearing and speech capability adequate to converse with clients in person and by telephone.
Sight adequate to locate and identify clients and vehicles and to operate a motor vehicle in daylight, darkness and in adverse weather conditions.
