Plan, organize, investigate, analyze data and make recommendations to hospital management for sign and way-finding programs to include signage and information boards for regulatory compliance.

Prepare reports and documents such as project specifications, facility space identification, building way-finding analysis, and capital outlay reports and justifications.

Oversee signage installations by FE or contract vendors.

Provide technical assistance in development and fabrication of graphic designs utilizing computer generated graphics and other appropriate methods.

Job standards to be performed at the EXPERT level.


Five (5) years experience in graphic/signage design & comprehensive/technical expertise of traditional and contemporary interior/exterior signage applications.

Experience with Gerber Omega, Corel Draw or other sign graphic design software.

Knowledge of federal and CA state sign code requirements for the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).

Knowledge of fastening techniques and tools, such as glues, pins, bolts, screws, and nails.

Knowledge of materials used such as vinyl, plastics, metal, wood, glass, paint, banners and poster board.

Must have California Driver's License in order to drive Medical Center vehicles.

Must be able to work various hours and locations based on business needs.

Have excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing.

Possess the personal characteristics of professionalism, credibility, commitment to high standards, innovation, discriminating judgment and accountability.


Knowledge of AutoCAD.

Previous Healthcare Experience.
