Role: Site Manager

Role Description:
As a Site Manager, the candidate will be responsible for serving as a GFEBS subject matter expert for all client stakeholders within their assigned site or region. The candidate will provide onsite support to end users for all Army's General Fund Enterprise Business System (GFEBS) transactional processing and analytical reporting needs. The candidate will share knowledge of GFEBS and its underlying platform, Systems Applications and Products in Data Processing (SAP) to sustain enterprise operations, resolve transactional/processing issues, and train client personnel. The Business Systems Analyst will help develop, assess, and recommend processes and procedures to execute financial management responsibilities in the GFEBS environment. The Business Systems Analyst will be able to lead and/or participate in working groups, program development forums, analytical activities, training, education and other forums. The role shall perform a broad range of services to support systems management functions (including helpdesk management, and the management of system interface processes), on-site training, and GFEBS transaction support.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:
Five years of experience working with government contracting officer represenative and other government contract management personnel in the management of a major government project.
Minimum eightyears of general financial management expereince of which at least six years are specialized in financial management support service

Education:
BS/BA Degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, business, or other related scientific or technical discipline
No degree is required if the Site manager possess a minimum of ten years of general experience of which eight years are specialized in financial managment support services.

  • Specialized Experience is defined as possessing the ability to communicate GFEBS information in a clear and understandable manner at both the system and transaction level, to both individual users and in group settings.
Additional Qualifications:
5 years of experience training and consulting in SAP.
Experience with accounting or finance departments in the US Army or Department of Defense (DoD).
Certified Defense Financial Manager (CDFM) or Certified Government Financial Manager (CGFM).
Experience monitoring and resolving interface issues between financial systems and source systems such as Defense Travel System (DTS), Standard Army Retail Supply System (SARRS), Property Book Unit Supply Enhanced (PBUSE), Standard Army Maintenance System (SAMS), Funds Control Module (FCM), U.S. Bank Access Online (AXOL), and Standard Procurement System (SPS).
Experience supporting funds management, financial and cost management, project systems, plant maintenance, procurement, and reimbursable activities to execute transactions with GFEBS.
Demonstrate understanding of financial requirements and determine appropriate use of the government financial system to enter and analyze transactions and transactional data.
Proficient with business intelligence tools, SAP Business Intelligence, and SAP Business Objects software.
Prior experience in a project management role on a major government contract
Demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills.
Demonstrate excellent client management skills.

Clearance:
Must have an active Secret security clearance no later than the start of the contract period of performance, and must maintain the level of security required for the life of the contract.

Travel: This position may require occassional CONUS/OCONUS travel.
