We are seeking skip tracers to build our internal skip trace department. This position largely involves using the internet to ‘trace’ the whereabouts of individuals who ‘skip’ debt payments. If you enjoy solving puzzles, hunting down information online, and consider yourself an excellent communicator this might be the job for you!
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform collection skip-tracing activities in accordance with FDCPA, state and local collections laws in an effort to verify consumer information.
Perform asset verification activities on consumers with unpaid collection accounts.
Proper handling of inbound/outbound skip calls, and utilizing multiple internet avenues to locate consumers while meeting production goals established by management.
Maintain clear and updated account documentation and coding on skip-tracing location progress.
Follow all company policies and procedures, be on time and participate in all team meetings, activities, etc. while pursuing these duties.
$9 -13/hr. depending on education and experience, with unlimited bonus potential based on performance. Exceptional performers can potentially earn over $20/hr with our bonus structure

Ability to perform mathematical calculations.

Previous collection experience is beneficial but not required.
