Slot Ambassador (P/T)
Job DescriptionTrouble shoots and assists guests with their slot machine issues and performs repair minor gaming machine malfunctions. Replaces gaming machine tickets. Assists customers with gaming machines where necessary and also provides directions, general information upcoming events and assists with Slot operation and services. Promotes excellent customer service by answering patron questions, understands all marketing & property information and rendering general assistance when necessary. Must maintain a professional appearance at all times. Demonstrates and provides outstanding customer and employee relations at all times. Presents oneself in a neat and clean appearance at all times. Performs other duties as assigned.
Ability to accurately explain various game combinations payouts and jackpots. Resets Slots whenever necessary. Responsive to all customers needs in assigned area. Renders general assistance to gaming players and forwards complaints to management as necessary. Safeguards company assets and gaming keys. Maintains an open line of communications with superiors. Assists customers with player card sign ups.
Physical and Mental
Ability to walk, if necessary, for the entire shift and to properly observe assigned area of the gaming area during a shift. Must be able to lift at least 25 lbs. Possess basic math skills.
Must be able to provide outstanding customer service with strong communication skills and ability to understand and get along with others. Must be 18 years old, with high school diploma and have the ability to obtain appropriate license pursuant to the NY State Lottery regulations.
