THE RESPONSIBILITIES:
Social Marketing Director oversees a comprehensive social media strategy for our clients including managing and building timely online commentary and discussion via social networks, blogging, and other newly emerging media technologies.

Be passionately in tune with latest social media developments, online behaviors, and trends.

Build and maintain client’s content distribution network by way of social media channels.

Minute by minute participation in conversations that surround content and brand, answer comments, and mediate.

Identify threats and opportunities in user generated content surrounding our brand, report to appropriate parties.

Create content for feeds and snippets in various social media sites.

Participate in social media, as yourself and white hat avatars, on client’s behalf.

Optimizing tags, on feeds, sharing sites like YouTube/Flickr and search engines through copywriting, creative & keyword optimization & buzz pocket mining.

Create and update daily, weekly and monthly reports.

Analyze campaigns and translate anecdotal or qualitative data into recommendations and plans for revising the social media campaigns.

Develop and Execute Social Media Strategy for our clients.

Own and execute the Social Media Contact Calendar.

Manage, Monitor and Engage in Social Media/Internet Communities.

Own Social Media, Online Communities, Blogs, Message Boards, Email Discussion Groups and Live Chats to generate exposure, publicity and sales.

Identify opportunities and develop plans/proposals for implementing scalable social media programs to generate maximum social media optimization.

Devise and implement appropriate campaigns for social media activities.

Define and track performance of campaign testing and live campaigns.

Provide regular reports to internal stakeholders on campaigns and social media matrices.

Use knowledge gained through analysis to provide insight on forecasting, budgeting and social media marketing direction.

Required Skills

A minimum of 3+ years related work experience in the interactive social networking arena.

Agency experience highly preferred.

Heavy knowledge of advertising, managing social networking content.

Bachelors in Advertising, Marketing, Communications preferred.

Excellent project management skills, ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, high stress environment and ensures follow-through on every matter.

Demonstrates excellent attention to detail.

Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Strong strategic thinking.

Effective listener.

Proven abilities of financial.
