Reports To VP of Digital Marketing

POSITION SUMMARY If you’ve proven yourself in the world of Social Media and now want to take your knowledge, experience, and leadership to a company making waves in the dynamic mobility industry – we want to talk with you. As the Manager of Social Media at Kony Solutions, you’ll be growing our social media program to become a critical piece of our marketing and business strategy.

  • Work with campaign managers and digital marketing teammates to define social strategies for Kony’s master brand and product lines
  • Support campaign activity with social overlay and proactive and reactive support
  • Oversee social media program day-to-day activities. Duties include:
    • Directing and administering global social listening efforts
    • Identifying, engaging, and/or delegating opportunities from the social sphere.
    • Working with subject matter experts to ensure follow through and successful responses.
    • Guiding social plans and working with field marketing for regions such as EMEA, Latin America, and Asia Pac.
    • Promoting and posting through our corporate social channels
  • Contribute to online marketing strategy and plan development (beyond social)
Social Media Content
  • Manage the social content calendar
  • Leverage product experts/SMEs participation by
    • Guide the creation of great social content and blogs
    • Re-purposing existing content into social media friendly format
    • Finding and connecting market needs with our online content
  • Collaborating with video and creative resources to create compelling social content
SEO/SEM Alignment
  • Participate directly with SEO/SEM agency and extend strategy into social channels and content
  • Support and implement linking and keyword strategy through social content
Social Media Best Practices
  • Help coach Kony employees and executives to improve overall company social competency
  • Improve and maintain resources and educational materials
  • Keep up to date on current social media channels, strategies and practices
  • Connect Marketing Program Managers by linking their efforts to a social plan
  • Leverage social listening software to develop actionable and informative reporting on trends, competitive intelligence, and activity
  • Provide reporting on Kony social activity, brand reputation, social channel performance/metrics
  • Social and Online Marketing acumen
    • Demonstrate experience managing and executing consumer or B2B social media campaigns at a brand or agency
    • Spend a lot of time online and stay up-do-date on new things out there
    • Has a general understanding of other online marketing disciplines such as email, web, content strategy
    • Working understanding of marketing automation a plus

    • Demonstrate ability to create a plan and execute with high quality, measurable results

    • Proven experience launching and growing social networking initiatives across online and mobile.

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing communications, online marketing, or psychology.
  • Has worked 3-5 years at a company or agency in an online marketing/social role
  • Experience operating web monitoring/listening tools and operation a plus
  • Established social presence and profile
