The very first and unique in the world, Nickelodeon Suites Resort is currently looking to hire an e-Commerce Marketing Manager for the Sales Department. This position reports to the Marketing Manager. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Create, develop, and manage social networking activities that would increase website traffic and generate community involvement.
  • Build and maintain plan for Nickelodeon Family Suite’s Internet presence, based on management priorities and goals for the organization
  • Define, plan and execute social media strategies (including but not limited to: Facebook, Twitter, blogs, etc.)
  • Research new and alternative ways to execute Social Media activities in order to increase community participation
  • Drive organic growth using viral social networking technologies that enable word-of-mouth marketing
  • Manages hotel’s social media strategy on sites such as facebook, twitter and youtube
  • Ensures partner websites have the tools needed to properly promote the hotel
  • Manages hotel’s media and content library
  • Helps manage and develop strategies to increase hotel’s email database
  • Communicates and develops relationship with outside e-commerce agency
  • Coordinates all website-related projects including routine edits and website enhancements
  • Assists in evaluating website effectiveness and changes needed to increase revenue and user-friendliness
  • Assists in establishing marketing goals to ensure share of market and profitability of products and/or services
  • Tracks online marketing efforts to ensure profitability for all partnerships, promotions and advertising programs
  • Assists in evaluating effectiveness of marketing campaigns
  • Can conduct marketing surveys when needed
  • Prepares marketing/e-commerce activity reports
  • Coordinates e-commerce strategies to meet revenue objectives
  • Assists and monitors the representation of the brand to ensure hotel is compliant with standards
  • Assists in writing copy for website
  • Writes and posts content for hotel’s blog and social media channels
  • May supervise staff
  • Assists Marketing Manager with video and photo shoots
  • Manage and promote online sweepstakes to help promote the hotel via You Tube and Twitter
  • Experience with online marketing, social media tools and techniques
  • Written communication skills that include but not limited to: proofreading and editing skills, ability to write creatively as well as conversationally
  • Ability to effectively manage time and schedules
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
  • Bachelors degree in business a plus
