listen … and live! We are currently seeking a Social Media Manager who will
work directly with the Digital Marketing/Product Marketing teams to create and
manage social media strategies. The ideal candidate must be able to think
strategically, but also willing and able to help implement programs. The Social
Media Manager will plan, write, comment and participate in social media programs
and platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and other relevant social
media avenues.This individual must have extensive social media experience and
actively participate in a wide variety of social media activities. This position
is for an individual who is on the cutting edge of technology and prepared to
evaluate new emerging opportunities in the social space.
Drive strategy and execution of all social media programming.
Work with stakeholders, and agency partners to establish company-wide
process and protocol for publishing and measurement of social media activation.
Drive social media competency across the business.
Proactively stay connected to evolving digital monitoring and measurement
Work with the Director of Digital Marketing to:
Ensure social media efforts are aligned with the overall marketing
objectives and goals
Create benchmarks and monitor the ROI for social marketing
Prepare reports to update internal staff on usage statistics.
Liaise with Product marketing/PR teams where appropriate to ensure brand
messages are accurately and appropriately conveyed
Bachelor's Degree in related field (i.e. Marketing, PR, Communications)
Robust social media experience.
Understanding of best practices and emerging trends within the social /
Knowledge of digital monitoring and reporting processes and tools; such as:
Strong analytical and reporting background. Ability to leverage data and
to influence marketing activity.
Ability to multi task and prioritize.
Agency management experience a must.
Strong background, knowledge, and interest in consumer electronics.
Must be willing and able to travel 15% of the time.
