Responsible for developing and leading community and social networking engagement programs for Initiative clients. The Social Media Planner manages and executes social initiatives; working in partnership with internal media planning and buying teams, partner agencies and external vendors; ensuring all initiatives are coordinated.


- Develop project plans, manage and execute specific social media initiatives, programs, campaigns - Recommend digital/social media strategies as needed and as opportunities are presented - Stay current with all Social Media industry developments and best practices - Consults with internal and external teams to define direction and develop concepts, to review creative strategies and provide lead on proposed projects


Experience: - One to three years social media and/or digital marketing experience - Strong interest in emerging digital media trends with a strong knowledge of the social media landscape and toolsets - Strong communication, research, presentation and creative skills - Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project Skills: - Excellent communication, analytical and organizational skills - Excellent time management and organizational skills - Detail oriented, self-motivated with a strong ability to multi-task - Ability to work creatively, independently and with a strong attention to detail
