Job Description This position is a 20 hour a week position with a flexible schedule

  • Will complete necessary documentation, assessments and MDS per regulatory guidelines


  • 2. Provide an avenue of communication to all family members of residents. Including the ability to deal with ongoing or acute family issues.

    3. Must be able to relate to residents and families in a highly professional, knowledgeable and caring manner. The Social Services Assistant Must have patience, tact, cheerful disposition and enthusiasm.

    4. In the absence of the Social Services Director will work in conjunction with the Director of Nursing in screening and accepting new admissions. This also includes participating in the admissions process.

    Qualifications
  • Must have earned at least a 2 year degree from an accredited college, in a feild related to long term care.
  • Must possess the ability to make independant decisions when circumstances warrent.
  • ability to tactfully deal with personnel, residents, families, visitors and the general public.
