Responsible for providing direct and indirect mental health treatment services to clients and their families. Provides training and supervision to interns and other mental health staff as delegated.
EDUCATION, TRAINING, EXPERIENCE, CERTIFICATION AND LICENSURE:
Masters Degree from an accredited graduate school of social work, with at least 12 semester hours or the equivalent of coursework that prepares the individual to practice as a licensed clinical social worker.
Must have 3 years of full time supervised clinical social work experience or the part time equivalent and have passed ASWB exam. Be licensed by State of New York as LCSW. Could be eligible for permit to practice as LCSW with supervision and must receive LCSW within 1 year. Demonstrates age specific competency annually on age populations served as identified in scope of care and services.

Clinical setting, exposure Class I, routine or potential exposure to blood, body fluids, excretions or secretions.
Medium work: standing, walking, sitting, lifting, carrying, pushing and pulling.
