Requires licensure as a Licensed Social Worker (LSW) by ND Board of Social Work Examiners (NDCC Chapter 43-41); and one year of professional human services work experience as a social worker, human relations counselor, developmental disabilities case manager, mental illness case manager, vocational rehabilitation counselor or a similar professional level position in the public or private sector; or a master’s degree in social work and licensure as a Licensed Social Worker by the ND Board of Social Work Examiners.
If no qualified applicants are found at the Social Worker II level, we will consider underfilling this position at the Social Worker I level (4211) , with a salary of $2,637. Minimum qualifications for a Social Worker I requires licensure as a Licensed Social Worker (LSW) by the North Dakota Board of Social Work Examiners (NDCC43-41).

Summary of Work:
The duties of this position include case management for services to elderly and disabled individuals receiving services under the HCBS programs. Duties may include traveling to client’s homes, conducting multi-dimensional assessment and other forms; developing individual case plans; file maintenance; billing; data entry into SAMS; providing information and handling requests for information. Additional duties include occasional backup for Children & Family service unit as needed, as well as intake and referral. Must be available to work non-traditional hours and make visits to the client’s homes as needed. A valid North Dakota license, an automobile and adequate insurance is required.
